Duncan McCann

Duncan started out BMXing in the late 80's and then progressed onto Mountain Bikes In the early 90's.
Working in his local shop he became a fully trained mechanic, building some of the first DH race bikes available from scratch.
As MTB grew the Downhill scene grew with it and Duncan quickly became hooked on the adrenaline sport. After a good result in his first race (a NAMBS) he decided that it was racing that he wanted to do. Riding for a number of teams throughout the 90's he ended up as team manager for Marin/Team Chevin and competed in the UK national points and national championships.
With all the riders finishing in the top half of the standings, Team Chevin played hard and drank hard and were always the most chilled fun team to be around.
After the team disbanded in the late 90's Duncan turned his career to selling and designing bikes and worked for some of the biggest cycle companies in Europe.
